Here is a tutorial on the installation and configuration of NCAM on the Vu+ decoder under a OpenHDF image and NCAM.

Hi i install this image latest one being 5.5 but i dont no how to set it up, any ideas on howto setup from scratch, seems pretty fast but needs setting. THE HDF GROUP - The HDF Group is the developer of HDF5®, a high-performance software library and data format that has been adopted across multiple industries and has become a de facto standard in scientific and research communities. Mutant - All Models. Mutant enigma2 models. Support, images & downloads for Mutant HD500C, Mutant HD1200, Mutant HD1500, Mutant HD51 4k, Mutant HD11 and Mutant HD60 4K. The softcam panel is broke for now but you can manually install oscam, ive attached it for you. You need to read a little on oscam if you get stuck we are here to help but youll need to understand it.

For this tutorial you need.

Material:
Vu + ZERO, UNO, DUO, DUO 2, ULTIMO, SOLO, SOLO 2, SOLO SE, Zero 4K, Uno 4k, solo 4k, Ultimo 4k, Uno 4K SE

Software:

Winscp

NCAM 10.8

NCAM subscription

If you do not have a Ncam subscription you can order it here

1- Installing the NCAM

– Launch WINSCP in the home window

File protocol: FTP

Hot name: 192.168.1.100 (ip address of your VU+ )

User name: root

Password: “empty” by default the root password in OpenHDF is empty (no password)

After clicking on Login

Select the ipk file and drag between the two windows to the /tmp folder.

MENU – SETUP

Install local extension

Select Memory /tmp

Install extensions

Select IPK file with OK and press GREEN BUTTON to start installation

Please wait while installing Ncam softcam IPK

after installation press Exit

2. Copy of the NCAM subscription

Installer

Copy subscription files from your PC to the /etc/tuxbox/config path of your receiver.

3. Starting Ncam

Press Blue button

Hdf oscam installation

Changes:

  • Added content id's to packages to prevent packages with same content being installed. When selecting packages to install, setup script and self install images will skip other packages with same content id's. Eg. if BetterWB package is set to install, clicking on ClassicWB package will skip BetterWB package.
  • Package installation menu has been updated with legends that indicate package dependencies and identical content. Legend (!) indicates package dependencies and legend (=) indicates identical content. A legends menu option has been added to show a description of the legends present for packages.
  • Added free space checks to build install entries allowing users to select next install directory, when there's not enough free space left on install directory. This is primarily for images with <2GB partitions where WHDLoad's needs to be installed over multiple partitions.
  • Added hstwb image setup patch only scripts.
  • Added 128GB image.
  • Added UAE4ALL image. This is primarily for emulators that doesn't support RDB hdf images like UAE4ALL on a PSP or PS Vita. Note UAE4ALL image doesn't work with FS-UAE due to surfaces needs to be set to 2 for DH1, DH2, DH3 and DH4.
  • Fixed validate settings for build package installation.
  • Fixed hstwb image setup patch filesystem paths using non RDB hdf files.
  • Fixed WinUAE A500 configuration changed to ECS chipset for AGS2 to work properly using WinUAE emulator.

Changes:

  • Added select package filtering to filter packages to the selected Amiga OS being installed helping users to install packages for the Amiga OS versions a package support. All packages that only work for specific Amiga OS versions has been updated with Amiga OS versions.
  • Reorganised HstWB Installer setup menus and options for a more intuitive workflow. Settings are now updated based on the selected installer mode, so only settings used for a given installer mode are shown.

In some situations PFS3AIO v2.3 (used for all images) can become corrupt and result in requester popups 'Wrong block id'. This is currently being investigated with new experimental versions of PFS3AIO from Toni Wilen.
